"I have been a Hilton member since 1988 and a Diamond VIP for many years. I have only written Hilton just one time about six years ago, with a bad experience. At my next check in, that hotel knew about the experience. Here is today's experience. I called the Diamond desk last week to make a reservation at this Pittsburgh Airport hotel. When I got to the hotel there was no reservation. I make numerous reservations at one time. Why do I remember this reservation? I normally stay at a different hotel, but they raised there rates dramatically. Knowing that the Hampton Inn was next door, I booked a room there. A young gentleman at the desk bent over backwards to help me with my serious problem! His name is John Herington, in the sales department. He did not have to help me, but the General manager was not in at the time. John is a very good asset to this hotel. He called all other Pittsburgh Airport hotels. "All full." Somehow he got me into the Hampton Inn, with not only the room type I wanted, then offered me a coke and free pizza offered by the managers reception!From time to time a company should and must recognize key employees. John overheard my problem and reacted! Please follow through and give John the proper recognition that he deserves. P.S. I never met John before this and he is not my nephew!!!!"
